At Pass Right Motoring School the safety of our pupils, instructors and that of the general public is our top priority.
Due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus at the end of 2019 we have had to implement new operating procedures in line with government guidelines.
These new procedures include minimal contact with students.
This includes having the driving license checked remotely so that the instructor does not handle the pupils driving license.
If the student suspects that they may have the virus or have been in contact with someone they may believe to have been infected, they should inform their instructor as soon as possible to avoid any late cancellation charges.
If notice of cancellation is less than 24 hrs then a penalty of half of the lesson cost may be charged.
The student MUST NOT have symptons or been in contact with someone showing symptons of Covid-19 within the last 7 days.
The instructor has the right to refuse to take on the student for a lesson if he/she feels that the student is suspected of having the virus or showing symptoms of Covid-19 at the cost of the student.
Between each lesson the vehicle is wiped down using anti-bacterial wipes on all surfaces the student has come into contact with.
The student will be required to wear a face mask provided by the instructor or one provided by the student so long as it reaches minimum safety specs (surgical face mask type II or higher).
The student may choose to wear protective gloves if they wish so long as this does not impede on their ability to operate the controls of the vehicle.
These procedures may change at any time due to updated Government guidelines.
